Illuminated sign cabinets are the standard illuminated plastic face signs that are everywhere. They are essentially a painted sign cabinet with LED lights inside with a translucent white polycarbonate face, with cut or printed translucent graphics applied to the face.

This style of sign allows for an easy change to the face with a simple replacement that can slide in to replace the old content. This is great for landlord provided signage that allows for tenants to have new signage when they move in.

An update to this is the ‘push through’ style of cabinet. The sign cabinet is the same as a standard illuminated sign, but the complete face is made with a cut out painted aluminum face with illuminated lettering.

The standard illuminated sign has a lower price point than a push through sign, but the push through sign has so much more additional impact.

Face lit letters are internally illuminated with LEDs through an acrylic face. They are lightweight and long lasting. Halo lit letters are also internally illuminated but shine through a clear or translucent backer. These letters are a little heavier and can be made with dozens of options.
