Grant Illuminated Signs is a CSA certified specialty manufacturer of custom channel letters, made from a variety of materials. We manufacture channel letters in stainless steel, aluminum, acrylic or copper, and use computer controlled CNC bender systems to produce perfectly formed letters with speed and precision.
A channel letter is a 3 dimensional letter form with a back, side (return) and face, with illumination normally through the face or back (for halo lighting effect), or sometimes both. If desired, we can fabricate the returns in perforated glow-through acrylic, as an alternative to the traditional channel letter structure.

First off, a raceway is a painted sheet metal or aluminum trough that channel letters are often mounted to.
This allows all of the low volt wiring to be contained inside the box, requiring only one electrical connection to the building.
There are many reasons to have your letters mounted to a raceway; including ease of installation, lack of space for electrical access behind the wall being mounted to, and even structural requirements.
